When the new plans launch, the free tier will include kana and the first 30 kanji, vocabulary, and grammar cards in each JLPT level, N5 through N1. No account is needed for local study in the Apple app.
For early supporters
Already bought the app?
Customers who purchased Danki as a paid app before the transition keep permanent Pro content access. You won’t need to buy Pro again. Sync remains a separate, optional subscription.
A few useful details
Does lifetime Pro include sync?
No. Lifetime covers Pro study content. Sync is an ongoing service with its own monthly or annual subscription.
Do I need an account?
Local study in the Apple app does not require an account. Website purchases, linking access across platforms, and optional sync require sign-in.
How will cancellation work?
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until canceled. You’ll manage each subscription through the provider where you purchased it. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase.
Which devices does Danki support?
Danki is available on the web and iPhone, with an Apple Watch companion. Mac is in beta and other platform work is ongoing. See the platform overview for current availability. Cross-device sync is coming separately.
